Emily Mynatt received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from Graceland University (Lamoni, IA). She successfully completed a 180 hour pediatric practicum, a 180 hour adult practicum, and a 240 hour family practicum – that included 60 hours in women’s health/family planning and 60 hours in emergency medicine.
Prior to earning her Master’s degree, Emily served in staff and travel RN roles in emergency rooms for over five years across Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin. This includes central Illinois hospitals in Normal and Macomb. She most recently served in the ER at Carle Bromenn Medical Center in Normal, IL. Emily also served in a skilled and long-term care facility in Mt. Pleasant, IA.
Emily received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Western Governors University (Salt Lake City, UT) in 2019 and Associates Degree of Nursing from Southeastern Community College (West Burlington, IA) in 2017.
Emily served in Medical Assistant and LPN roles at Planned Parenthood of the Heartland in the period of 2012 to 2015.
Emily is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, Iowa Nurse Practitioner Society, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
