Dr. Hanson received his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas (Devens, Massachusetts). He completed his residency at Southern Illinois University (Carbondale, IL) and has been practicing in the Carbondale area for over 10 years.
Dr. Hanson has been affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including St. Joseph Memorial Hospital and Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, and has cooperated with many other doctors and specialists in many medical groups, including Southern Illinois Hospital Services and Southern Illinois Medical Services.
Dr. Hanson will still refer to SIH Memorial and Marion Hospital as needed for specialists and hospitalizations.
