Dr. Santiago is a graduate of Illinois State University (Bloomington, Illinois) where he majored in Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Iowa College of Medicine (Iowa City, Iowa), completed a general surgery internship at Allegheny General Hospital and Trauma Center (Allegheny, Pennsylvania), and completed his residency at the Naval Hospital (Jacksonville, Florida).
Dr. Santiago has served as Medical Doctor for nearly 30 years at hospitals in Bloomington, Monmouth, Aledo and Galesburg.
