Shekoufeh is an Iranian immigrant living the American dream. Starting as a pharmacy technician in a grocery store pharmacy and working her way to becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A& M University in Corpus Christi in 2014.
She began working in the intensive care unit as a bedside nurse for the Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston Texas. While working for LBJ Hospital for the past seven years, Shekoufeh simultaneously earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington and holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a family nurse practitioner.
She is fluent in both English and Farsi.
