For women of all ages, gynecology providers monitor, evaluate, and treat both acute and chronic conditions of the reproductive system and genitourinary tract.
Obstetrics providers help women manage pregnancies before, during, and after childbirth. 

Common conditions treated include:
  • Pregnancy (Prenatal and Postpartum)
  • Cancer screening for breast, cervical, ovarian, and uterus
  • Menstrual problems, including missing, painful, or prolonged menstrual periods and premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
  • Sexually-transmitted infections such as HPV, gonorrhea, and syphilis
  • Ovarian cysts
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Endometriosis
  • Urinary tract and vaginal infections
  • Symptoms of menopause
Surgeries performed by Gynecologists include:
  • Hysterectomy
  • Endometrial ablation for endometriosis and heavy periods
  • Colposcopy, a detailed inspection of the cervix
  • Ultrasound examinations
  • Annual exams to include PAP smear and breast exam
  • Loop electrosurgical excision procedures (LEEP) for tissue sampling
  • Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) during and after menopause
  • Medical and surgical treatment of urinary incontinence (such as pelvic floor therapy)
